Много международни информационни агенции, важни музикални портали и интернет медии отразиха затварянето на четири български пиратски сайта след акция на ГДБОП по сигнал на Българската асоциация на музикалните продуценти. What IFPI claims was the largest-ever operation to tackle internet piracy in Bulgaria has resulted in the closure of four websites suspected of illegally distributing music, films, games and software on a massive scale.
Bulgarian web sites nanoset.net, rapidadd.com, 4storing.com and afasta.com have all been shuttered with immediate effect following an investigation, which was coordinated by the Bulgarian Police"s Cyber Crime Unit. The operation is part of an on-going anti-piracy strategy of the Bulgarian Culture and Interior Ministries. Bulgarian police have shut down four popular torrent websites in its largest ever action against Internet piracy, the international recording industry association IFPI said Monday.  The file sharing websites -- nanoset.net, rapidadd.com, 4storing.com and afasta.com -- were accused of illegally distributing books, films, games, music and software, IFPI said in a statement. Run by an organised crime network, the four sites were probed for several months before their closure, it added. According to Bulgarian police, which conducted the operation, users paid a total 5.0 million leva (2.5 million euros, 3.36 million dollars) in fees to get access to these services, the federation also said.

The entertainment industry is continuing its mission to clamp down on suspected illegal filesharing websites around the world.  Four sites have been closed in Bulgaria after months of investigating by the country’s Cyber Crime unit following a complaint by the Bulgarian Association of the Music Producers (BAMP), representing the music industry. It was alleged that nanoset.net, rapidadd.com, 4storing.com and afasta.com were run by an organised criminal network and were illegally distributing books, films, games, music and software on a large scale.
